About Us
Based in Broward and Miami-Dade County, Dazzling Minds commits to serving the needs of children with services including tutoring, mentoring, virtual tutoring, & homeschooling assistance. Established in January of 2018, Dazzling Minds Children's Services LLC has grown rapidly with an even more dazzling future ahead. We have served more than 175 children with over 5,000 hours of tutoring and counting.
Dazzling Minds Children's Services LLC commits to helping the needs of children by providing them with the skills and mindset they need to shine inside and outside of the classroom. We take pride in the relationships we build with our children, and our approach in working from the foundation and building up by using engaging and effective intervention resources to conduct our sessions. Our mentoring services commits to helping our children grow to their fullest potential by providing them with a personal cheerleader who will help them stay on track, and guide them along their adolescent journey.
This is only the beginning, as we are consistently looking for ways to grow Dazzling Minds to better serve the community.
Meet the Founder
Hi! My name is Katelyn Hunley, founder of Dazzling Minds LLC. Ever since I was younger, I wanted to be an educator. I started pursuing my Education career working at a K-12 Title I Charter school in North Lauderdale, FL in 2015; where I worked as a teacher's assistant, assistant cheer couch, step team coach, pool substitute, and an interventionist. Throughout my years there, I realized my passion and drive to better the future generation. Therefore, I studied and graduated from Broward College with a degree in Elementary Education.
I knew I wanted to provide services to our youth that parents wouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg to afford and still get fun, quality services. In my opinion, no student should have to go without the help they need due to their parents not being able to afford it. ALL students deserve a quality education! Therefore, in January 2018, Dazzling Minds was born.
Fast forward to 2020, after becoming a mommy, my baby boy sparked even more fuel to my fire to do what I can to make sure the future generation is well off. I currently teach 2nd grade at a local charter school while concurrently running Dazzling Minds. To learn more about our journey: check out my VoyageMIA article published in November of 2019.
